Agora

Your plant is closing. The raw materials aren’t the problem you want.

Production moves to sister plants, and they absorb what they can use. What’s left has no home and a hard date on it. That last part usually lands on somebody who already has a full plate.

What the alternatives actually pay

Today there are two exits. A surplus liquidator will take the lot at roughly 8–30¢ per kilo, sight largely unseen, because that is the price of buying blind and reselling to strangers. Or you pay a disposal contractor to take it away, which is a cost line rather than a recovery.

Both are quick. Neither reflects what the material is worth to somebody who actually uses it.

What we do instead

We run a short, private sale to a network of contract manufacturers and formulators who consume these exact materials — the people who would otherwise buy them from a distributor at full price, on an eight-to-twelve week lead time. They are not buying a job lot to flip. They are filling a real gap in a real formulation.

You keep control throughout. You set the floor, you see every offer, and you accept or decline each one. We never take title, never take custody, and never touch the money — you invoice the buyer directly on your own paper.

What it costs you

Nothing up front, and nothing if nothing sells. We work on commission against completed sales only, on a sliding scale that we will put in writing before you commit to anything. If the material does not move, you have lost no money — only the time between now and your deadline, which is why starting early matters more than deciding quickly.

How your name is handled

We do not publish who you are. Buyers see “a US manufacturer consolidating a multi-site footprint” and the material itself. We are not going to pretend that is unbreakable — a determined buyer with a search engine can often work it out, and your documentation names you anyway. What we will not do is put your name in a listing, an email blast, or anything a competitor could forward.

What we need from you

That is the whole lift. No portal to learn, no data project, no internal approvals beyond the commercial terms.

Timing

The useful window is the one before the plant is empty and the staff who know where things are have gone. Material is easiest to sell while somebody can still walk over and read a label. If your date is inside the next few months, now is early enough to matter.

Worth a conversation?

Twenty minutes, no obligation, and we will tell you honestly if we do not think your material will move.
